I see 2 billion being offered for 2 plex, i count the zeros , i take my time, i did a test trade first for some minerals with the trader for 3 million, he pays that ok, then i put in a trade for 2 plex, i see 2 billion, i click accept, the other trader CAN CHANGE THE 2 BILLION to 2 MILLION and finish the trade. Such an advanced game and such a flawed person to person trade system. No warning message for the change, nothing. Bam loss of 2 billion. Thanks CCP. for having the best person to person trade window money can buy. Sucks. Ill never use your person to person trade system again, 35 dollars is a dinner for me, i bought 2 more and sold it in the market. Keep the cash. |

Well you can tell a relatively new returning player that its wrong for him to trust a trade tool that shows his eyes 2 billion and then pays his account 2 million. I could have sold it in the market, i learnt my lesson, but the trade tool is flawed for the standards the game sets, it shows u 2 billion and pays u 2 million WITHOUT WARNING, thats the crappiest system there can be. So yeah, not entirely my fault, too bad it happened but ill live with it. Just another part of the game thats not upto the standards i expected them to be. |

Are you trying to tell me its such an advanced game and there will be no Warning for a change in the trade terms? Sorry bad system, wont use it again (obviously). Hope CCP fixes it. |

As far as I know, if you hit accept when it said 2 billion and he then changed it to 2 million, you would then have to accept it again. That said, never do anything through the trade window unless it's with an alt or a mate. Private contracts don't have fees beyond the 10k setup fee and can be verified a lot better before accepting, so there's really no reason not to use those if it's for a deal outside the open market. If it's in a trade hub though it's probably a scam.
I didnt have to accept it again he just changed it to 2 million and thats all i got. |

Your free to try it for 2 plex of $35 and see if it gives you a warning because it doesnt, that was the point of this thread that the trade system is flawed, theres no point ganging up on a new player and telling him how dumb he is while not accepting that maybe a part of the game mechanics of the game dont work properly, which they dont. |
